Are you a keen amateur photographer too daunted by studio photography to take your first step? Do you already know what you are doing but are only interested in creating great shots, not organising everything? Do you want to beef-up your portfolio with no hassle?
Whatever the case may be, London Test Shoot is here to smooth the way out for you. We provide seasoned models and a fully-equipped studio space, leaving you to just enjoy the experience and let those creative juices flow.
How it works
Test Shoot takes place on Saturdays, between 11am and 4pm. You join your model and a crew of up to five other photographers, no more. This is a fun opportunity to stretch your creativity, network and exchange ideas. Our experienced studio team is on hand to provide advice and encouragement, if needed.
The day is relaxed and informal. This is about having fun while being creative. People can shoot throughout but get chances to take the lead too.
The venue is equipped with a number of backgrounds and props, and offers the option to use studio lights or natural light.
We provide a light lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

What you need
We provide the studio, the lights, the remote triggers, the model and a basic set up.
You will only need a DSLR camera equipped with your favourite lens(es), and flowing creative juices.
We recommend that you have a little think in advance about images you'd like to create during the day; look at the work of other photographers, put a mood board together perhaps. Feel free to bring props if you want to. We'll try to accommodate you, within reason.
Most importantly: have fun on the day!
